Mike SerticSelf-government is a practice, not just a principle.
I lead the Advocates for Self-Government, the nonprofit behind the World's Smallest Political Quiz, and I built Political DNA, an assessment that maps people across 32 political archetypes. Before that I helped build Students For Liberty and studied self-managed organizations at Morning Star's Self-Management Institute.
Most of the liberty movement works on the principle. My work is on the practice: what it takes for a person to know what they believe, and for an organization to run without a chain of command.

Liberty education and organizational self-management are usually treated as separate subjects. I have worked in both, and they turn out to be the same problem at two scales. A person who knows what they believe can govern themselves in politics. A team with clear agreements can govern itself at work. The tools differ. The skill is the same.
That is what I write and speak about: the practice of self-government, from the voting booth to the shop floor.
