First post

I suppose it’s well past due for me to take a moment and post something to this site.  I’ve had the domain name for years, and for the last year and half all that’s resided on this site was a brief bio and a form for spambots to drop off the occasional message for deals on Viagra at suspicious looking links.

Anyway, it’s April 16, 2020, and that means I’ve been spending a lot of my time over the last month in my house.  COVID-19, last time I checked has allegedly caused some 30,000 deaths in the U.S.  Aside from working a lot, I’ve been spending pursuing some of the self-directed learning and hobbies.  One effort to make progress on my personal educational goals is this website.  Whether or not I ever post here again, my goal is to familiarize myself more about WordPress, site development, server administration, and more.
